Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the deficiency of motor output due to undervoltage of battery.
CONSTITUTION: A contactor 26 is inserted between a generator 20 and a motor 10 and a battery 12. When predetermined conditions are satisfied, a controller 16 opens the contactor 26 to drive the motor 10 with the output from the generator 20. Deficiency of output torque from the motor 10 due to the undervoltage of the battery 12 can be prevented by turning the contactor 26 OFF depending on the increase of r.p.m. of the motor 10, the lowering of SOC of the battery 12 and the increase of accelerator opening, the insufficient primary current of the motor 10 for a current command value, the insufficient input current to an inverter 14 for the product of accelerator opening and the r.p.m., etc.
