PURPOSE: To reduce the heat loss, the heat source unit in structure, and the cost of the equipment by enabling a small amount of flowing air to discharge contaminants out of a room and by effecting the air conditioning of the indoor space in its entirety.
CONSTITUTION: In a space having an air-intake opening 1 and an air-discharge opening 2 which both communicate with the outside, a fan 6 sends air to a noncontaminated space A through a heat source 7 and the air-intake opening 1 and from air outlets 3a; the air flows from the noncontaminated space A to the air-discharge opening 2 through air inlets 4a from the space A, air outlets 3b to a contaminated space B and air inlets 4b therefrom. Air-conditioned fresh air flowing from a heat source unit C, which comprises the fan 6 and the heat source 7, and through the air-intake opening 1 is, at air outlets 3 provided in the floor, supplied to a room through the air outlets 3a, which are on the side of noncontaminated space, that is, free of a source of air contamination. From thence and through the air inlets 4a provided in the ceiling the air flows into a duct provided outside of the room. Again the air is supplied to a room through the air outlets 3b provided in the floor on which there is a source of air contamination. By this flow of air contaminants are sent out of the room through the air inlets 4b, which are on the side of contaminated space, and discharged outdoors through the air-discharge opening 2.
