Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air compressor capable of reducing noise generated at the time of discharging compressed air into a tank.SOLUTION: An air tank structure of an air compressor having a pair of air tanks 51, 52 for storing compressed air and a two-stage type compressor 1 installed on the air tanks and a discharging part 62 for discharging air into an air tank 51 that is first from the compressor 1 is protruded into the tank. Or, it may be applicable that an air discharging part for discharging air from the first air tank 51 to the second air tank 52 is protruded into the air tank 52. With this arrangement as above, since the compressed air fed into the air tank is discharged at a position where it is far from an inner wall surface of the tank, it is possible to avoid rapid air expansion near the inner wall surface of the tank. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce noise generated by discharging air into the tank at the high pressure air compressor provided with a pair of air tanks. In particular, a superior effect of reducing noise can be realized under a high pressure where noise is remarkable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
