Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air turbine drive spindle which is improved in drive efficiency by reducing a torque loss at high-speed rotation.SOLUTION: An air turbine drive spindle comprises: a rotating shaft 1 including a shaft part 1A and a thrust plate part 1B which is formed so as to extend to a radial direction with respect to the shaft part 1A; and gas feed parts 13, 14 which inject gases. The rotating shaft 1 has a plurality of rotary vanes 15 which extend to a thrust direction on the thrust plate part 1B, and a plurality of the rotary vanes 15 are arranged so as to be rotatable in a housing by receiving the gases which are injected from air feed parts 13, 14. A plurality of the rotary vanes 15 are alternately arranged with intervals. The air turbine drive spindle further comprises a member 25 for connecting a plurality of the rotary vanes 15 in an opening part in the thrust direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
