To provide an airbag control device capable of making a threshold value used for safing determination variable and setting it at an optimum value even if the safing determination is performed in an ASIC.
When power is inputted, a microcomputer 2 transmits a serial command to a switching circuit 14 of the ASIC4, and one of setting values th1 to th4 is set as a threshold level upon the safing determination. At the vehicle collision, the microcomputer 2 outputs a collision detection signal on the basis of an output of a main G sensor 1. On the other hand, a G detection output of a safing G sensor 3 is inputted into an arithmetic circuit 12 through an A/D converter 11. When an integral arithmetic output by the arithmetic circuit 12 exceeds the threshold level, a judgment circuit 13 inputs a high level signal into an AND circuit 16, transistors 17 and 18 are turned on, and a current is supplied to a squib 5 to initiate an air bag.
