Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for a saddle type vehicle capable of restraining an occupant to keep the occupant from moving from a seat when the device is inflated and deployed.
SOLUTION: The saddle type airbag device 10 includes an airbag 11, an inflator 41, and a case 47 holding the airbag 11 and the inflator 41 and mounted to a vehicle frame 2. The airbag 11 has a leg side inflating part 24 which is inflated to fill a space between the seat 5 and the case 47 between both knees K of the occupant D when the airbag is inflated and deployed.
