Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make possible calm sleep and pleasant a wakening by providing each timer for sleep and waking in an alarm clock to generate melodies suitable for sleep and waking respectively.

CONSTITUTION: When one goes to bed, a time for falling asleep is considered in setting the time for cutting off a melody for sleep and, when a time-on/off button 1 is switched on, a melody for inducing sleep continues to flow as the volume is gradually turned down up to the set time. At this time the initial volume of the melody for sleep is set with the use of a volume control knob 3. On the other hand, when a waking expected time is set to switch on a timer- on/off button 2 for waking, the melody for waking flows tens minutes before the set time, the volume gradually becomes louder up to the expected volume preset by the knob to reach the expected volume at the set time. Setting of each timer for sleep and waking is performed with the use of the knob provided on the rear and the like of an alarm clock.
