To provide an album service system which generates an album in response to a user's request and provides it through a network for the user making a request to browse the album.
The user sends album generation information to a center server 30 connected through a network from a client terminal 10. A WWW application server 32 provided on the center server 30 edits the contents of the album generation information and a digital image stored in an image-by-school file table 300 by referring to an album generation table 33 according to the contents to generate an electronic album. When the electronic album is generated, a student information table 41 and an event-by-year table 42 are also referred to when necessary. The generated electronic album is sent to the client terminal 10, where it can be browsed.
