Abstract:
To provide an aldehyde scavenger for polyurethane that can exhibit not only excellent storage stability but also an excellent reducing effect of aldehyde without deteriorating physical properties of polyurethane.SOLUTION: The aldehyde scavenger for polyurethane comprises a reducing agent, a basic compound, an amine-based polymer having an amine group in the repeating unit and water. The reducing agent is preferably a complex metal hydride, more preferably a sodium borohydride, and the amine-based polymer having an amine group in the repeating unit is preferably at least one kind of amine-based polymer selected from the group consisting of polyvinyl amine, polyvinyl alkylamine, polyalkylene imine, polyaniline and a salt thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None
