Abstract:
To draw the attention of a manipulator to various entities existing in the surrounding environment of a moving vehicle without distracting the attentiveness of the manipulator.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a light projection device for outputting visual display visually recognizable by a manipulator to a prescribed display range on a front glass; and an alert device for drawing the attention of the manipulator to objects in the surrounding of a moving vehicle by means of the visual display. The alert device includes a detection unit for detecting objects in the surrounding area of the moving vehicle, a classification unit for classifying the objects into categories on the basis of a traffic scene, and a cognitive skill evaluation unit for calculating the degree of cognitive proficiency with regard to each of the categories on the basis of the manner of the manipulator's sight and face movements. The alert unit outputs, in a manner corresponding to the degree of cognitive proficiency regarding the category of the object, the visual display at the same horizontal position within the display range as the horizontal position of the object on the front glass as seen from the manipulator's position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
