Abstract:
To provide an algae culturing device and algae culturing method that can efficiently culture algae.SOLUTION: An algae culturing device 10 has a culture tank 30 that has an outer wall member 32, and a sheet-like member 33 laid inside the outer wall member 32 and stores an algae culture medium 36. The algae culturing device 10 further has a cooling pipe 25 buried in gravel arranged in a cooling region below the sheet-like member 33, and a supply pipe 15 that supplies deep ocean water to the cooling pipe 25. Thus, the obtained deep ocean water is supplied to the culture tank 30 and the cooling pipe 25 while algae are cultured in the algae culturing device 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
