The algae culture apparatus 100 comprises a plurality of visible light LEDs 21 arranged in a prescribed direction, a cylindrical case 20 which stores a plurality of visible light LEDs 21, has a portion for transmitting light outputted from the visible light LEDs 21 and is extended in the prescribed direction, a transparent pipe line 10 spirally wound on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical case 20 so as to be in contact with at least the light-transmitting portion 20t of the case 20, a container 40 for storing the algae culture liquid C, and a circulation portion 50 for circulating the algae culture liquid C between the pipe line 10 and the container 40.
