Abstract:
To provide an aligner evaluation method for evaluating whether an aligner in the next step manufactured along a treatment plan is a proper one that gives the pressure distribution assumed by a dentist to the tooth row of a patient.SOLUTION: An aligner evaluation method for evaluating an aligner molded by a transparent resin for an orthodontic treatment includes a display step of converting a polarization image obtained by imaging a state in which an aligner is attached to a denture mold corresponding to a tooth row of a patient by a polarization image camera that visualizes optical elasticity into a pressure distribution image expressing the magnitude of pressure applied to each spot of the aligner and displaying the image on a display unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
