Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the alignment of a belt conveyor even if it is wet with rain in an aligning roller device of a belt conveyor between a raw material yard and a blast furnace by coating the surface of the aligning roller with the ceramics particle including flexible material.
CONSTITUTION: An aligning roller 6a is formed with a steel roller core 7 of which surface is coated with urethane rubber 9 in which sic particle is compounded at about 40 volume %. This urethane rubber 9 and the roller core 7 are fixed by engaging wedge channels with projections provided in the axial direction. With this structure, the frictional resistance with a belt becomes large, and snaking can be corrected even if it is wet with rain.
