Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject novel compound having good heat protecting and antiarrhythmic actions, and useful for treatment and prevention of arrhythmia, angina pectoris and infarction.
SOLUTION: This compound is an alkylbenzoylguanidine compound shown by formula I [R1 is A (A is a 1-6C alkyl), (CF3, CH2F, CN, NO2 or the like; R2 and R3 are each H, a halogen (F, Cl, Br or I), A, CN, NO2, CF3 or the like; and AlK is a straight-chain or branched 1-8C alkyl or the like] or a physiologically harmless salt thereof, e.g. N-diaminomethylene-2-methyl-4-isopropyl-5- methylsulfonylbenzamide. The compound shown by formula I is obtained, e.g. by reacting a compound shown by formula II (Q is Cl, Br, an OA, O-CO-A or the like), e.g. methyl 2-methyl-4-isopropyl-5-methylsulfonylbenzoate, with guanidine.
