Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a new cycloalkenyl-cycloalkylperoxide that is useful for manufacturing an unsaturated alcohol of alkene and alkanone.
CONSTITUTION: These are alkylperoxide of the formula ((n) is 1-4; (m) is 1-8), for example, cyclohexyl-cyclohexenylperoside. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a 5-12C cycloalkylhydroperoxide with a 5-8C cycoalkene in the presence of a catalyst comprising Mo or Co compd. at a temperature of 0-80°C. As a ligand of the catalyst, organic complex using phthalocyanine, porphyrin or the like is preferable. Cycloalkenol and cycloalkenone are obtained by decomposing alkylperoxide of the formula. Moreover, cycloalkanol and cycloalkanone are obtained by hydrogenating them.
