Abstract:

To provide an allergic rhinitis-improving agent for internal application, which is excellent in an allergic rhinitis-improving effect and has high safety.

This allergic rhinitis-improving agent for the internal application contains a Lyophyllum decastes (Fr.) Sing. extract as an active ingredient. It is preferable that the Lyophyllum decastes (Fr.) Sing. is an artificially cultured Lyophyllum decastes (Fr.) Sing. using "Kameyama No. 1" as a spawn. It is preferable that the active ingredient of the Lyophyllum decastes (Fr.) Sing. extract has the following characteristics; (i) color and shape: yellowish-brown powder, (ii) chemical ingredients: sugar in a content of 60 to 80 mass%, and proteins in a content of 5 to 15 mass%; (iii) solubility: soluble in water.
