Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title emulsion capable of suppressing stain, deterioration, etc., of an aqueous substance by bacteria, fungus, etc., having excellent dispersibility and useful for coating, etc., by dispersing particles having a polymer layer of an unsaturated monomter on the surface of a polymer impregnated with allyl isothiocyanate into water. CONSTITUTION:The objective emulsion obtained by dispersing particles having a polymer layer of an saturated monomer such as vinyl acetate on the surface of a polymer such as polymethyl methacrylate impregnated with allyl siothiocyanate into water and having 100-500nm average particle diameter. Ally isothiocyanate of 5-50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts. wt. polymer particles is preferably impregnated in the emulsion.
