Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form α-etiocholanolone high in concentration in blood in a mammalian body requiring treatment by administering an effective amount of etiocholanedione medicine to a mammal. CONSTITUTION: The effective amount of α-etiocholanedione: 5β-androstan-3,7- dione (0.1-100mg/kg weight, especially 20-40mg/kg weight) is administered to a mammal to form a etiocholanolone high in concentration in blood, capable of treating the state of disease selected from obesity, diabetic syndrome, diabetic-related corticoid-excessive disease and their complication and abnormal reduction in marrow.
