NEW MATERIAL:[α-( n-Heptafluoropropoxy )perfluoroethylcarbonyloxy]propyltrichlorosilane of formula I .
USE: A raw material for preparing polysilsesquioxane which is a carcinostatic agent.
PREPARATION: Allyl(n-heptafluoropropoxy)perfluoropropionate of formula II is reacted with trichlorosilane in the presence of a catalyst, e.g. chloroplatinic acid, by the so-called hydrosilylation method.
