PURPOSE: To increase the solemn feeling of an altar by mounting the altar device on a Buddhist altar, projecting an illumination light of various colors, and flickering the illumination light.

CONSTITUTION: An elevator frame body 2 is mounted movably up and down freely on a base frame body 1. The frame body 2 has a white plastic plate body 3 on its surface. In the frame body 2, a light projecting bulb 4 for light source is attached and a polarization plate 5 is provided in front of the bulb 4. Further, a multicolor emitting plate 6 is provided in front of the plate 5. A motor 7 rotating the plates 5 and 6 is provided. A polarization plate body 26 is stuck at the back of the white plastic plate body 3 in front of the plate 6.
