To provide a control method for maintaining stable altitude control of an indoor vertical flying toy such as a helicopter or a multi-rotor copter.
Altitude control includes the establishment of a selected altitude level of a flying body 100. A position control signal is transmitted from an IRED cell 135 of the flying body toward a surface 136. A receiver 134 of the flying body receives a signal reflected from the surface. A level of the reflected signal is obtained by the receiver, and a change in the reflected signal shows a change in the altitude of the flying body with respect to the selected altitude level. The receiver of the flying body communicates with a remote controller, and the remote controller can adjust and control a velocity and a direction of the flying body.
