Abstract:
To provide a melting method and a melting unit of aluminum chips getting aluminum melt by melting chips which are cutting scraps of aluminum metal or alloy.SOLUTION: A melting method of aluminum chips includes: a pre-heating step for removing oily water in adhering cutting oil of the aluminum chips by evaporation or decomposition; a charge step and a melting step that the preheated chips are charged into aluminum melt, spreaded and melt; and a gas processing step for combusting the decomposition gas or evaporation gas of the cutting oil generated in the pre-heating step to eliminate pollution. An oil-water separation step and a sizing step are arranged before the pre-heating step. A melting unit is provided in which the chips are mixed and stirred to melt in a chip surfacing prevention area provided in a fusion furnace.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
