Abstract:

To provide an aluminum foil for electrolytic capacitor electrode, capable of attaining electrostatic capacity higher than heretofore.

This aluminum foil for electrostatic capacitor electrode is produced by applying hot rolling, cold rolling, foil rolling, process annealing, skin pass rolling, and further final annealing to an aluminum ingot of ≥99.9% aluminum purity. At this time, a foil of 0.2 to 0.5 mm sheet thickness, having ≥1.2 relative intensity of {011}<211> orientation with respect to {123}<634> orientation, is used.
