To provide an aluminum-less lid material which is a lid material 20 which covers a cup-shaped or a tray-shaped container 30 made of a foamed polystyrene or the like storing a cup chinese noodle, a tray fried noodle or the like to be cooked by pouring hot water and whose peripheral end part is sealed by heat-welding, and which has no problem that when the lid material 20 is peeled off around the center and hot water is poured, hot water is hardly poured as the lid is closed on the container.
The lid material 20 is prepared by laminating at least a paper material layer 2, a resin film layer 3 and an easy-peelable layer 4, and has a tab piece (a) on its peripheral end and has a round shape or a corner-rounded rectangular shape. This aluminum-less lid material is provided with a connection discontinuity hole b with a cut-like or slit-like shape at least passing through the paper material layer 2 between the peripheral end part and the central part on the opposite side of the tab piece (a) of the lid material 20, and is provided with a releasing part c on the inner face side of the paper material layer 2 on the peripheral side part of this connection discontinuity hole b.
