Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum material for electrolytic capacitor electrodes, which can surely increase a surface area and gives higher capacitance, by generating high-density deep etch pits uniformly.
SOLUTION: The aluminum material comprises a chemical composition of Al matrix of 99.9% or more, 2-50 ppm Si, 2-50 ppm Fe, 15-150 ppm Cu, 1-80 ppm Zn, 0.1-3 ppm Pb, 11 ppm or more at least one kind of Zr or V, 11-100 ppm total quantity of the trace elements, 2 ppm or less B which is limited, and aluminum and impurities as the balance.
