Abstract:
To provide an aluminum melting holding furnace capable of suitably suppressing the intrusion of precipitates into a molten metal pumped up from a pumping-up chamber.SOLUTION: Provided is an aluminum melting holding furnace comprising: a melting part Y for melting a material made of aluminum with a melting burner YB; a holding chamber 1 for heat-retaining a molten metal from the melting part Y with a heat-retaining burner HB and holding the same; and a pumping-up chamber 2 for pumping-up the molten metal. The holding chamber 1 and the pumping-up chamber 2 are adjacently arranged side by side in a state of being partitioned with a pumping-up side partition wall 5, a pumping-up side communication port 6 fluidizing the molten metal of the holding chamber 1 to the pumping-up chamber 2 is formed at a lower side part of the pumping-up side partition wall 5, a pumping-up chamber side fluidization prevention step part E projecting upward of a holding chamber side bottom wall 1D is formed at a connection part between a pumping-up chamber side bottom wall 2D of the pumping-up chamber 2 and the holding chamber side bottom wall 1D of the holding chamber 1, and the pumping-up side communication port 6 is formed in a state of opening an upper part of the pumping-up chamber side fluidization prevention step part E.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
