To provide an aluminum pipe-drawing lubricating oil which has the excellent lubricity and makes it possible to carry out the drawing process at a low cost and to provide a drawing method of aluminum pipes by using it.
The aluminum pipe-drawing lubricating oil is for use in the drawing process of aluminum pipes. The aluminum pipe-drawing lubricating oil contains at least one or more kinds of base oils selected from a mineral oil, an unhydrogenated or a hydrogenated polyisobutylene and an isoparaffin, and a metal soap. The metal soap comprises a 11-18C organic acid and any metal of Ca, Zn, Mg, Al, Pb, Co, Ni, Fe, Cu, Mn, Sn, Li, Cd and Ba. The aluminum pipe-drawing lubricating oil has a content of the metal soap of 0.05-5.0% by weight and has a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of 5-50,000 mm
