Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compound of formula I [wherein A is formula II or the like; R1 is H, CH3, CH2-CH3 or the luke; R2 is H, CH3, C6H5 or the like; Z is H, C(CH3)3 or the liked; m is 0 or 1; and n is 0-3].
EXAMPLE: cis-2-[[N-(hydroxyamino)-2 oxoethyl]amino]carbonyl]cyclohexanecarboxylic acid.
USE: A medicine having angiotensin inhibiting action and antihypertensive activity.
PREPARATION: A hydroxam-group-containing amino acid derivative of formula IV (wherein R6 is H or a protective group) is condensed with a cyclomethylene-1,2-dicarboxylic acid of formula V or a derivative thereof. The protected group is removed from the product to obtain a compound of formula I.
