Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new amidino compound useful as a glycoprotein IIb/IIIa antagonism, an inhibitor of blood platelet agglutination, a preventive and/or therapeutic agent for thrombosis.
CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula I [R1 is amidino or a protected amidino; R2 is H or a lower alkyl; R3 is H, an acyl, an acyl (lower) alkoxy, an acyl-(lower) alkyl which may be substituted or an N-ar-(lower) alkyl-N-lower alkanoylamino-(lower) alkyl; m is 1-6] or its salt such as dimethyl[4-(4- amidinophenyloxy)acetylamino-l, 2-phenylenedioxy] diacetate.hydrochloride. The compound is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II with a compound of formula III in the presence of a condensation agent.
