Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the subject new compound useful as a gasoline additive which inhibits deposition of deposits on the intake valve and in the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine and which does not show the octane number requirement increase.
CONSTITUTION: The objective compound of formula I (R is monovalent 1-10C aliphatic group; R' is 8-30C hydrocarbon group; R" is methyl, when plural R"s are present, R"s may be different and are each H or methyl; (x) is 5-50), is obtained by reacting 4-substituted-2-morpholinone of the formula II with hydrocarbyloxypolyoxyalkylene amine of the formula III.
