Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound having higher selectivity to muscarine M3 receptor, particularly than muscarine M2 receptor and strong antagonism. SOLUTION: This aminocycloalkylmethanol compound is represented by formula I [Ar is a (substituted)phenyl or the like; R1 is H or the like; R2 is H or the like; (m) is 2-4] or its pharmaceutically permissible salt. The compound of formula I is obtained by a producing method or the like reducing (±)-2- azabicyclo-[2.2. 1]hepto-5-ene-3-one of formula II or its optically active substance used as a starting raw material by a catalyst and then, reacting the reduction product with an alkylating agent or an alkenylating agent in an organic solvent in the presence of an inorganic base or an organic base, then, reacting the reaction product with an aryl metal reagent in an organic solvent and subjecting the resultant compound to alkylation or alkenylation reaction and further, reacting the reaction product with an aryl metal reagent. The compound can be used as a medicine for preventing or treating respiratory diseases, urinary organ diseases, digestive organ diseases or the like.
