Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:Reactive derivative in a carboxyl group of a compound expressed by formula I [R1 is carboxy (lower) alkyl or esterified carboxy (lower) alkyl; R2 is amino or protected amino] or salt of said compound, or lower alkyl ester of nuclear thiazolyl acetates usable for acylation reaction of amino group in the compound or β-lactam compound.
EXAMPLE: 2-(2-formamidethiazole-4-yl)-2-ethoxycarbonylmethoxyimino acetate.
USE: Used as synthetic intermediate of 7-substituted-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid as an antibacterial agent and salt of said compound.
PREPARATION: A compound expressed by formula II (R2a is protected amino) is reacted with hydroxylamine compound expressed by the formula R1-ONH2 to afford the compound expressed by formula I.
