Abstract:

To newly obtain a method and device for measuring ammonium nitrogen concentration that can be easily maintained.

A detector 40 mixes inspection water and alkali within a mixer 41 for contacting, and ammonium nitrogen contained in the inspection water is liberated as an ammonium gas, then the ammonium gas is separated in a separation column ammonium gas transmission separation column 1. Furthermore, the ammonium gas is allowed to react with a carrier (acid) being supplied from a carrier tank 52, and the amount of inner potential change (voltage) of the carrier due to the reaction is measured. The measured voltage is supplied to an operation processing part outside a figure for calculating the concentration of ammonium nitrogen. For maintaining measurement performance, the detector 40 is stored in a constant temperature bath 44, and an inspection water supply system is provided with a cleaning liquid supply function for cleaning the column 1 and a calibration liquid supply function for calibrating the detector 40.
