Title:
AMORPHOUS MAGNETIC ALLOY IRON CORE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61272910
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of the titled iron core by a method wherein a non-corrosive metal is brought to come in contact with the surface of an amorphous thin belt in the process in which the iron core is annealed, thereby enabling to prevent the surface of the iron core from oxidation.

CONSTITUTION: The iron core 3 of the prescribed shape and size is formed by winding an amorphous thin belt 1 around a material hoop 2. Ordinarily, one surface of said belt 1 has large recesses and projections while the other surface is formed relatively smooth. Therefore, the thin belt is wound in such a manner that the surface of the layer having the large recesses and projections is positioned on the outermost circumference which comes in contact with the outside air. The non-corrosive metal such as copper thin plate 4 is arranged on the outermost circumference of the iron core 3, they are placed in an airtight case 5, and an annealing is performed in an N2 gas atmosphere. After the annealing is finished, a wiring 6 is provided on the iron core 3, metal fittings 7 and a wiring 8 are attached, and a transformer is completed. As a result, the oxidation of the surface of the iron core can be prevented, and the reliability of the iron core can also be improved.
