To provide an amphibious toy that can perform a submerged cruising, the toy having an optimal shape for cruising at a high speed in a vicinity of the water surface such as a leisure boat or a racing boat.

The amphibious toy is equipped with a hull, a screw, a rudder, a recess section, and an elevator. In this case, for the hull, a ship-shape deck and a ship bottom are closely joined without gap. The screw is installed on the ship bottom surface. The rudder is controllably installed on the ship bottom surface. The recess section is installed on the stern, and indents in the advancing direction. The elevator is pivotally supported in a manner to be controllable to the recess section in the horizontal axis at the lowermost end of the recess section while having the equivalent shape as the indented shape of the recess section.
