Abstract:
To provide a new amphoteric ionic compound without having a cell-scarring activity like that of a surfactant, the use of the same and a method for producing the same, enabling its large scale production.
This non-surfactant compound having an amphoteric ionic structure in a form of a carboxymethylated short chain dialkylaminoalkylamide, the use of the same as a treating agent of inflammatory skin diseases etc., and the method for converting a carboxylic acid and a short chain dialkylaminoalkylamine to a short chain dialkylaminoalkylamide and then converting to the non-surfactant having the amphoteric ionic structure by a halogenocarboxylic acid or its salt are provided.
