Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the formation of a template-nondependent nonspecific product (primer-dimer) in a nucleic acid amplification reaction.
SOLUTION: A set of primer pair is used for inhibiting the formation of a template-nondependent nonspecific product (primer-dimer) in a nucleic acid amplification reaction, wherein, at least one primer thereof includes a nucleotide modified at three 3'-terminal nucleotide positions, and the modified nucleotide is selected from the group consisting of 2'-O-methylnucleotides, 2'- fluoronucleotides, 2'-aminonucleotides and arabinose nucleotides.
