To provide an amplifier apparatus the performance of which can be enhanced by taking proper matching.
The amplifier apparatus for amplifying signals includes: a distribution means 1 that distributes the signals; a carrier amplifier 2 that amplifies the distributed first signal by the class AB; a peak amplifier 4 that amplifies the distributed second signal by the class B or C; a first transmission line with an optional electric length connected to an output of the carrier amplifier; a second transmission line with an optional electric length connected to an output of the peak amplifier; and a composite terminal 18 at which an output of the first transmission line and an output of the second transmission line are composed, and the impedance at the composite terminal is selected differently from the parallel impedance of load impedance values respectively converted by the first and second transmission lines and at a maximum output of the carrier amplifier and the peak amplifier, or the parallel impedance of changed load impedance values at the maximum output of the carrier amplifier and the peak amplifier.
