Abstract:
To prevent a vehicle occupant from finding it difficult to hear an output sound from a speaker due to a road noise.SOLUTION: The amplifier control device for controlling an output watt number of an amplifier installed in a vehicle comprises: a determination unit that determines which of a traveling state or a stopped state the vehicle is in; a holding unit that holds a first table associating the output watt number of the amplifier with each volume setting value and a second table in which the output watt number associated with each volume setting value is smaller than that associated with a corresponding volume setting value in the first table; a setting unit that sets the first table when the vehicle is determined to be in the traveling state and the second table when the vehicle is determined to be in the stopped state; and an adjustment unit that adjusts the output watt number of the amplifier on the basis of the set tables.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
