Title:
AMPLITUDE-MODULATED SIGNAL RECEPTION CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3594921
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality of a demodulated signal without changing the radio type of an amplitude-modulated (AM) transmitted wave.
SOLUTION: A received AM signal is frequency converted, and an obtained intermediate frequency (IF) signal is divided into two signals. One is converted into an IF signal having a fixed amplitude by a limiter 107. The other is frequency converted by a frequency converter 108 and an IF signal is taken out there from by an IF filter 110. This IF signal and the above-mentioned IF signal having the fixed amplitude are multiplied by a frequency converter 111, converted into a single-sideband signal, and demodulated by an RZ SSB (Real Zero Single Sideband) demodulation circuit 113 after removing noise by an IF filter 112.
