Title:
ANALOG-DIGITAL SIGNAL CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6455913
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of untolerable errors by supplying various multiplexed inputs including analog input signal sample to a voltage/current converter for charging and discharging an integration capacitor in an A/D converter using a double gradient conversion method. CONSTITUTION: A switch between a differential voltage/current converter 33 and a comparator 41 and a switch inside a multiplexed are formed as a whole by an insulated gate field effect transistor(IGFET). Control signals or clock phase signals from generators 50 and 51 are applied to the gate regions of these transistors. Some of these clock phase signals and the comparator bits of the comparator 41 are used together for forming various kinds of outputs from the A/D converter. Large bits applied by a capacitor discharging time counter 53 forms a digital signal output together with the polarity bits of an input polarity but generator 52. These digital signal outputs express a digital value equal with the differential sample of an analog input signal.
