PURPOSE: To combine the advantages of two kinds of time pieces with each other by providing a means which moves a mobile date scale plate to the position corresponding to a past or future date and a means which automatically returns the mobile date scale plate to the present month.

CONSTITUTION: A time piece 1 has an analog time indicating sections constituted of a dial 2, an hour hand 3, a minute hand 4, and a second hand 5. The time piece 1 also has a hand 6 which indicates a day of the month and a day of the week and is connected with the hour hand 3 in an interlocking way so that the hand 6 can move by the angle corresponding to the 1/35 of the circumference of the dial 2 and a hand 7 which indicates the month. On the dial 2, a stationary day-of-week scale plate 8 and a mobile date scale plate 9 are provided in addition to the hands 3-7. The time piece 1 can select and indicate an arbitrary month by means of a means which moves the scale plate 9 to the position corresponding to a past or future date and a means which returns the plate 9 to the present month.
