Abstract:
To provide an analysis method and a program by the discretized form of a governing equation which can improve analysis accuracy by securing the continuity of the pore water pressure and the flow rate on an adjacent curved face for a finite element analysis of saturated ground based on u-U formulation using displacement u of a soil skeleton and displacement u of pore water as unknowns, even when porosity between elements is discontinuous.SOLUTION: In an analysis method for saturated ground, the balancing formula of a ground skeleton and the balancing formula of pore water are described by u-U formulation using displacement u of the ground skeleton and the displacement u of pore water as unknowns, in which pore water pressure p is canceled by a continuous formula, and by solving the discretized form of a governing equation including the balancing formula by a finite element analysis, a numerical solution of the behavior of a ground model is acquired. A porosity in elements is discretized to nodes by a porosity matrix shown in formula 1.SELECTED DRAWING: None
