Abstract:
To provide an estimation method of a sequence of a polymer unit in a polymer of DNA, and a measurement method of an ion current flowing in a nanopore.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for estimating a sequence of a polymer unit in a polymer from measurement of at least one series related to a polymer, in which respective measured values rely on k-mers which are groups of k polymer units, k being a positive integer. The method comprises: a step for providing a model including transition weighting indicating possibility of transition from an origin k-mer to a destination k-mer for a possible set of k-mers, and discharge weighting related to each k-mer indicating possibility of observing a given measured value about the k-mer; and a step for analyzing the series of measurement using an analysis technique of referring to the model, and on the basis of likelihood at which, the series of measurement is predicted by the model generated by the sequence of the polymer unit, estimating at least one estimated sequence of the polymer unit in the polymer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
