Title:
ANALYZER FOR IRON CONTENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3667033
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly introduce sample water into an analyzer while it is kept as a turbulent current by a method wherein system water which is sampled by a sample-water intake means is set at a constant temperature, a flow rate in which the turbulent current is generated is set and a liquid which is sent out continuously is used as the sample water.
SOLUTION: System water in a pipe 1 is adjusted by a temperature-lowering and pressure-decreasing device 2, e.g. to a temperature of about 35°C and a pressure of about 3 kg/cm2, and it is taken into as sample water. A flowmeter 3 measures the flow rate per unit time of the sample water, and a pressure relief valve 4 adjusts the pressure of a sample-water introduction pipe 5 to a prescribed pressure. A sample-water collecting device 6 is composed of an eight-way valve in which a rotor at the inside is turned/returned by about 45° so as to change over the valve. In this manner, the sample water inside the sample-water introduction pipe 5 is set by the temperature-lowering and pressure-decreasing device 2 in such a way that its Reynolds number becomes a flow velocity at which a turbulent current region is formed. As a result, a particle-like iron portion can be distributed uniformly in the water, and a pump which is used to sample the sample water is not required.
