Title:
ANALYZER WITH COOLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3711180
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a high temperature sample stably and reliably while introducing as it is by air cooling a part of a sample liquid introduction passage to a flow cell through an exhaust fan.
SOLUTION: A high temperature sample liquid sucked from a sample tank 1 by a suction pump 3 is introduced from a sampling line 2 into an analyzer body case 4. At first, it is air cooled at a heat-exchange section 22 by an exhaust fan 5 and then subjected to defoaming in a deforming tank 6. In the deforming tank 6, foams ascend through a sample liquid and returns back to the sample tank 1 through a return path 10. Consequently, foam-free sample liquid on the bottom is introduced through a sampling line 21 into a flow cell 8 by on/off operation of a solenoid valve 7 and measured. In other words, a large and expensive cooler is not required and the installation space can be saved and highly reliable measurements can be obtained by introducing a high temperature sample liquid as it is over a wide temperature range.
