Abstract:

PURPOSE: To measure the extent of element density or sticking quantity in the depth direction of an alloyed layer by seeking a difference between measured light intensity and true light intensity in regard to a standard alloy whose element density is known, using this difference as a correction value, and finding the true light intensity of the measured alloy layer.
CONSTITUTION: A side from an iron-zinc 2-layer plating steel plate, a standard alloy in which concentration of two elements CFe, CZn is made different, is made up and sputtering is carried out, and then compensation values F (Fe) and G (Zn) compensating measured light intensity IFe, IZn are sought. These compensation values F, G are added to the measured light intensities Ii (Fe), Ii (Zn) are sought as well. On the basis of this true light intensity, the concentration CFe, CZn of Fe and Zn in the depth direction is obtained with an analytical curve process or the like using the analyzed result pertaining to a sample whose element concentration is known. In addition, a position where the light intensity of an alloyed layer is varied is judged as a boundary, seeking each thickness of both upper and lower layers, and the concentrations CFe, CZn are integrated, thereby seeking a sticking quantity of Fe and Zn.
