Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for anchoring a communication client at any arbitrary position inside an artifact.
SOLUTION: An artifact 800 is accessed in an application 810 and each of anchored conversations(AC) in the artifact is capsuled as an AC client 820. Each of AC clients provides a UI for a user to start a conversation and is related with an anchor 830 for marking the position inside the artifact. An application conversation interface 840 is added to each of applications and performs related application processing, data access, operation and other conversation processing for anchoring the AC client inside the artifact. A conversation coordinator 850 maintains communication between the AC and the other conversation client and accesses a conversation data base 860 containing a conversation history and access control data.
