To provide an angle detection type coordinate detector by which stable and accurate coordinate data can be generated by utilizing the coordinate detector of a resistant film system.

This detector has a coordinate input panel 2 opposing two resistant films on a disk consisting of a touch surface with an insulation enable dot spacer inbetween and an input means movable on the coordinate input panel 2 through the operation of a user. Then, the input means is composed of the spherical touch surface in contact with the coordinate input panel 2 and a rod-shaped operation part 1 vertically extended from this touch surface. Further, the operation part 1 is vertically arranged at the center of the coordinate input panel 2 and by inclining the operation part 1, the touch surface is turned so that a contact can be moved on the coordinate input panel 2.
